I was just checking out this health forum. With any forum, there is a wide range of information here. It's interesting to read how people solve some of their health problems. In one thread, a person described how he removed warts with duct tape. Another thread claims that watermelon can have Viagra-like effects. It's hard to know what information is valid and what isn't. There are so many supposed natural cures. Still it's interesting to read about people's opinions and experiences. I've had some problems with headaches. One person claims that feverfew helps with migraines. I had never heard of it before but will try to find out more about it. Sites like this can give you ideas about things to try or to research further though you should always take what they say with a grain of salt.

Town Hall Meeting Rage

I have to say that I'm sympathetic to the unruly people showing up at various town halls. Some of it may be orchestrated but I think it is basically due to a very healthy resistance to big government. I heard one Congressman promising all kinds of thing with health care reform. People couldn't be refused for pre-existing conditions, there would be no exorbitant co-payments, everyone would be covered, etc. Yet how would he pay for all of this? It's easier for someone in government to promise everything in the world. Why not buy everyone a new car (we partly doing that with the cash for clunkers) or pay everyone's mortgage. Eventually we have to pay the bill.
