Ports Deal

I'm with the President on the ports deal. The Democrats think that they can score some political points on national security by opposing the sale of the management rights to American ports to an UAE company. However, I tend to think that the outrage of the critics of the deal is hurting the war on terrorism. In our fight against Islamic extremism and terrorism, we need allies in the Arab and Muslim world. Antagonizing a friendly Arab nation does not seem like a good idea to me. The Democrats who object to racial profiling in other contexts are just trying to score political points.
