With the economy is such turmoil, everyone needs to have information about their finances. I've become addicted to CNBC. On the web, I recently visited this personal finance blog. It has a lot of information about a number of everyday financial concerns. The categories of posts include banking, college, credit and credit cards, identity theft, insurance, investing, mortgages, real estate, saving money and tax preparation. It's a nice place to get some basic information. Often I feel swamped with financial data and advice coming from every direction. This site is well organized into these categories and provides basic, clear information about each topic. There are links to additional posts with information about related items. Although things in the economy appear to have stabilized recently, I have a feeling we are still in for a bumpy ride. There is so much debt, both public and private, in the economy, I think it will be hard to get the economy growing again. Everyone needs as much information as possible to survive.
